Music

I think music should stay in schools. I personally love music and I think it was a great thing for me to get into. I love making music and being a part of a group. I also find it relaxing. I think it is just like any other class. You are learning something in music like you are any other subject.
Music is important to me. I am not saying by this statement meaning you have to love music or even like it for that matter. But just because you don't like it doesn't mean you should take it away from everybody that does. Music is a way for people to express themselves.

E.C. Blog

I had to think about a scary story and I couldn’t really think of one. But I did think of this weird occurrence. When I was in 6th grade, every once in a while there would be a name written on the marker board. The name that kept showing up was Larry. It would show up on different spots of the board and at different times. Sometimes it would be after P.E. or music class when we left the classroom for those classes or it was when we got in the room for the day to start. It was at different times of the day and not every day.
We never did find out who did it or what? It seems like something someone could have done but people were not always in the rooms or at least the same people. It just seems very odd. We didn’t even have a Larry in the school at that time. It could have even been people from another class sneaking in but you would have thought someone would have seen it happen. I don’t really believe in all the paranormal activity stuff. I don’t know about it. It seems so weird to think that ghosts could exist. That is such a strange thing to think about. People die they die. Not come back to haunt people. It is a weird concept to even think about. It is also weird to think if people can’t see you that you can move objects or pick up stuff to write on a marker board.

10/20/11

I just found this particulars guy’s article interesting. I don’t think that any kid needs to watch TV to get though the day. No one has to watch TV but most everyone likes to. It is just part of the thing most people do now. I think this guy is making a mistake by putting his kid in front of the TV to eat anything.  The kid is not going to get to have a TV in front of him for the rest of him adult life. That is not a good habit to get into. I would argue that kids especially under the age of 3 should not watch TV on a daily basis. I argue this just because it is not a good habit to get into watching TV all the time. I don’t know anything about the medical side effects of watching TV but I don’t think that is something that a kid needs in their life at that age.
There are so many other things a kids needs at that point in their life then TV. That age is when you really need to start reading to your kid or read with your kid so they get a basic of reading before school. That is the time to really start teaching your kids thing so they can succeed in school. They need to start learning there alphabet and not watching a TV show. It is very important to their learning process to start at that age. It will help them later on in life.

Blog #10?

I think Sullivan Taylor should stay as it is. Sullivan Taylor is a great place for people to come and meet and get coffee if you want. It is a wifi spot for some people to get on the Internet. These and other reason are why I think it should stay the same.
Because it is a local coffee shop, they can change the menu when they want and how they want. In a chain you can only change it when the chain tells you too. You also can't change the prices when you want with or permission. You are under a tight belt with a chain restaurant.
Another thing the a smaller place has is a more homely feeling to it. You feel like you are welcomed to be you are not just another customer. You feel more welcomed in the place then just the same old same looking building as the hundreds of other places that look just like it.
With that being said that is why I think another reason is it uniqueness. It is not like any other coffee store. It is a historic downtown building. No Starbucks is a historic building. That is part of the whole atmosphere of the place. It has a cool feeling of peace and rustic feel to it.
This is why j think it should stay the same. It is a unique awesome place that you feel loved and comfortable in. There is a personal feel to it compared to Starbucks. Therefore it should stay Sullivan Taylor coffee shop.
